He makes an awesome holioke like this! Share it if you like it!
This Feb-March (2014), Amrit (the wedding cinematographer) and his wife went to the southern island of New Zealand and did a road trip. The itinerary was – Christchurch to Omarama to Queenstown to Te Anau to Queenstown again and then to Hokitika and from there back to Christchurch. The above holioke aims to capture most of the scenic places that they came across. What the f is a holioke? Well it is a new concept (yet to catch up) and is a result of holiday+karaoke (where you sing a common song throughout the vacation and then edit it seamlessly). Marryokes are more common (same thing done in weddings) and it was from listening to a lot of marryokes that they got the idea of doing a holioke during this vacation.
The song used is from a Bollywood movie Anjaana Anjaani (length cut short for our use). The equipments used are Canon 5d mii and 6d bodies, couple of lenses (16-35 f2.8 L, Sigma 85mm f1.2 and Sigma 35mm f1.4 and a 135mm f2 L), a Gopro Hero 3+ (with its accessories such as holding stick, car mount, gorilla-pod etc.), a Glidecam HD 4000, a Kessler stealth slider, a manfrotto fluid monopod, a manfrotto tripod and some cheap fluid head. Yes they did carry a lot of gear. The Toyota Corrolla that they had rented had more than enough space to accommodate all of that.
