Sourcing
We rely on announcements from clubs, leagues and governing bodies, and on our own reporting. Where a claim is reported rather than confirmed, the article says so.
Numbers
Tables, fixtures and results are published only when they are confirmed. A table that has not started is shown as such. We do not estimate goals, points or attendance.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we correct the page and note the change. Requests for corrections can be sent through the contact page.
Independence
Editorial content is written by the editorial desk. Commercial placements are clearly separate from editorial coverage.
