Sharing with you pictures from a short and sweet Christian wedding of Sumi (a Chennaite) & Carlos (a Spanish). I had the pleasure of shooting the Mahabalipuram edition of their wedding. Prior to that, they had gotten married in UK (where they live and work) and in Spain – Carlos’ native place.
As I took a taxi from the Chennai airport to Mahabalipuram, I wondered how excited could someone be, if it was their third wedding within the span of afew weeks! I would soon get to observe that if you are truly in love, every time there is a celebration about your love, you end up feeling as happy and as excited, as if it was the first ever celebration!

Once both Carlos & Sumi were ready, they headed for the wedding ceremony right next to a beach in the beautiful Radisson Blue resort. Looking at their happiness, it was difficult to tell it was their third wedding! :)

It was a short ceremony. And everyone jumped with joy once it was over. And the I took them to the beach for few couple pictures!

And then it was reception time. One of Sumi’s cousins sang a Spanish song to make the Spanish guests from Carlos’s family feel at home. And feel at home they did. Everyone had loads of fun. And once the dinner was done, everyone started dancing. Till late in the night. And that’s how the day got over!
