My name is Amrit. I am a wedding photographer (and a documentary filmmaker). In July this year (2016), I travelled to a monsoony Bhopal to shoot a wedding. This is a picture story from that wedding. ‘Candid wedding photographers Bhopal’ is a phrase used purely for the purpose of Search Engine Optimization (a necessary evil, if I want the Googling world out there to stumble upon my work).

The Engagement
Now that the couple was engaged, it was Haldi time. Just that it became more of a Holi really. Which is what part 2 below is all about.
Candid wedding photographers Bhopal – Part 2
Holi vaali Haldi
When things get this hardcore during a haldi, as a photographer I do start feeling a little uneasy at one point. What if someone ran towards me to colour me up? That’s not a hypothetical scenario if that’s what you think it is. It ‘almost’ happened last year in Navi Mumbai. I was at the bride’s house during her haldi, and her mom got so excited that when no one uncoloured was left anymore, she looked at Ankit and me and said ‘oh, these guys are the only ones now with clean faces’. We ran for our lives and saw them directly at the venue, later that evening. Okay, I exaggerated a bit, but the fear is real if you know what I mean. Thankfully, things didn’t get that wild in Bhopal.
By the way, in case you didn’t already know, I (including other ShaadiGraphers) shoot across India for the same price (you don’t even have to pay for travel; just take care of accommodation as you would for your friends traveling from other cities).

Naach gaana
Sangeet was the last ceremony of the day. Someone was clearly mugging till the nth hour. :D
Thus ended the day. The next day, they got married. Like obviously!

Shaadi
I hope you enjoyed this picture story. If you relate to this style of photography and want to get me (or a ShaadiGrapher) to create such images from your wedding, you can write to me at amrit@shaadigrapher.com (or call up on +91 95525 89252). I will need to know the dates, city and approximate start+end time of all functions to be able to arrive at a fee. The pricing formula is pretty transparent though! By the way, we also make documentary movies from weddings.
